The Higher Education Students’ Loans Board (HESLB) is a body corporate established under Act No.9 of 2004 (as amended in 2007, 2014 and 2016) with the objective of assisting needy and eligible Tanzania students to access loans and grants for higher education.

HESLGB staff oriented on Access to Information Act. To Sustainably provide Accessible and Affordable Loans and Grants to Deserving Students Pursuing Higher Education in Malawi.

HESLB OLAMS is the online system of loan application for students who want to join higher education in Tanzania. Learn how to apply, login, check status, repay and contact HESLB for 2021/2022 academic year.

Employed beneficiary: 1. Inform your employer on your student loan and submit required details. 2. Track your loan repayment status to completion. 3. Request for loan clearance from HESLB.

HESLB Employer Login Portal. You can access the Higher Education Students’ Loans Board Portal 24 hours a day from any location with an internet connection using a desktop computer, a laptop, a notebook, a tablet, and even smartphones.

Currently Student Loans are given to Undergraduate Students joining UNZA, CBU, KMU, MKU, MU, CHAU, KNU PU from secondary schools across the country. The loans cater for tuition fees, accommodation fees, meal allowances, book allowances and project allowances. Learn More.
